ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
My work explores a landscape of magical realism combining quirky contemporary mythologies with intuitive symbolism. I am interested in investigating the relationship between the imaginary by discussing the psychology behind these manifestations from a personal and particularly feminine perspective. Working with acrylic on canvas and asembalage pieces these primal fairytales unravel with a sense of surreal mystery.

I have been consistently exhibiting since 2003 around Melbourne in gallerys such as West Space “The A4 Exhibition 2005”, stART “The Monochrome show” and collaborations through Circus Gallery. Currently I’m exhibiting in a group show VCOSS Gallery called “The Artist and the Sea”, and also a retrospective show at Rubys Gallery.

I have had a strong interest in art since childhood and attended Box Hill Secondary College’s V.C.E Arts Program. In 2003 I graduated from Victorian College of the Arts with a B.A in Painting and have since been preparing works out of my Brunswick studio for three upcoming shows “Glorious Trees” Art Streams Gallery, “The femme Show” Circus Gallery May 12, and Nancy Gallery solo show July 07.
